Day 1

Depart Ushuaia

Board MV Ushuaia in the afternoon, complete the safety briefing, and sail through the Beagle Channel.

Days 3-4

Falkland Islands

Explore western wildlife sites and Stanley as conditions allow, with possible penguin, albatross, and island-history visits.

Days 5-7

To South Georgia

Cross the Antarctic Convergence with lectures and wildlife watching before approaching South Georgia's mountainous coast.

Days 8-11

South Georgia

Flexible landings seek king penguin colonies, seal beaches, glaciers, historic sites, and sheltered bays.

Days 12-13

Scotia Sea

Sail south through rich seabird habitat toward the Antarctic islands.

Days 14-15

Elephant Island & Antarctic Sound

Attempt expedition visits around Elephant Island and the iceberg-filled gateway to the Weddell Sea.

Days 16-18

Peninsula & South Shetlands

Zodiac cruises and landings focus on penguins, whales, glaciers, research stations, and sculpted ice.

Days 19-21

Drake Passage

Cross the Drake Passage with seabird watching, expedition lectures, open-bridge visits, and preparations for the first landing.

Day 22

Ushuaia

Return through the Beagle Channel and disembark after breakfast.
