Arrive in Ushuaia at least one full day before embarkation—and earlier when your operator includes a pre-cruise hotel or mandatory briefing. Never build an international itinerary around a same-day arrival.
Classic Peninsula expeditions offer the broadest choice. Antarctic Circle attempts add days and a farther-south objective. South Georgia and Falklands voyages are longer and place greater emphasis on wildlife diversity.
Most international travelers connect through Buenos Aires, and domestic flights may use a different airport from their international arrival. Weather and operational changes can disrupt tight plans, so protect the cruise with buffer time.
